What Do We Know For Sure?

Mother Teresa once said, "If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."  This quote echoed in me as I read the final chapters of Angela Mia White's book, From Sick to Bliss to Conversations with God.  With simplicity, honesty and humility, Angela shares her experience of healing from a devastating illness which caused her to question everything she had ever been taught to believe.  Her path of recovery also led to a heightened awareness of the interconnectedness of all creation and the ultimate message...We are all love.

Finding feathers were significant to Angela's journey as they mysteriously appeared before her whenever she expressed a need for greater clarity of direction and purpose.

It amazes me how often I've come across feathers since reading about Angela's experience with them...from a conversation with someone about their dog whose name happens to be discovering a drawing my daughter made earlier this year.

I wondered how long before I would actually stumble upon a feather across my path.  It wasn't long...

A male friend once said, "The only thing we can know for sure is that we exist. Everything else is subject to experience."

What I am certain of is that we are all participants in one amazing story.  We become what we believe. We get what we're focused upon.  And as more of us "wake up to love" as Angela invites us to do, the world will know greater peace.
