It's as though a new journey has begun. There is so much promise and hope when we usher in a brand new year. Just as in gardening, it's an opportunity to pay close attention to what we want to create in our lives, for whatever we plant in our hearts and minds has the potential to grow. Here are a few suggestions as you begin 2013.
Be sure to plant seeds of gratitude. Begin with a heartfelt "thank you" and trust your heart as you embrace the unknown.
Water and nurture the seedlings of your dreams with love and enthusiasm. Each day, make the decision to do what is most loving and honoring of yourself as you lovingly respond to the needs and requests of others. Recognize that living your dream inspires others to live theirs.
Work to remove the weeds of worry, fear and stress. Weeds have a tendency to grow rather quickly. Understand that you only get more of what you focus on. Worry begets more worry. If abundance is what you hope for, focus on the gifts you possess that allow you to move toward abundance. Look around and see what else might be available to you rather than avoiding your concerns or masking them with negative habits and behaviors.
And when you have done all you can possibly do, let go. Just as a flower knows exactly when to bloom, everything happens when the timing is right.
May 2013 be your best year yet.
Love and blessings,
