While persistence and determination are great attributes, learning to let go can also serve us well. Letting go is an art form which requires practice in order to master.
It has two parts.
First, know that there is magnificence in all that you are and all that you believe. Being clear about what you want for yourself is an expression of the magic that is within you. That is your part; to awaken your courage, recognize your inherent greatness, learn how to love and express your creativity. Awaken, be yourself, love, create, but then rest. Rest and allow God to step in. That is the second part. The part many of us struggle with.
We only have to look at nature and see the perfect timing. That’s the universe we live in. If the flowers know exactly when to bloom, why wouldn’t the universe conspire in our favor? Why would it work differently for us when we are an extension of nature?
When you come upon a thicket of grave resistance, this might be the time to consider an alternate route. If it still feels like the right path, it might very well be, but the timing may not be right. It might be better to look for a clearing instead of struggling to create an opening where there is none.
Step back and wait for the space to naturally appear. That is what letting go is all about. It is when you can truly allow space for the unexpected gifts to arrive once you have done your part.
Love and blessings,
