My fingers are still cold from this morning's brief walk. The frigid air was able to penetrate the many layers of clothing and gloves. If you are a born New Englander like my husband, the winter season may be easier to embrace. While skiing, snowmobiling, sledding and tubing can all be great fun, below freezing temperatures cause me to retreat. For me, it is a time for being inside.
As hurried as I was on the way back home, I couldn't help but reflect upon the message that came. Underneath all the bitter cold and appearance of lifelessness, there is continued growth and the emergence of new life awaits.
It was another beautiful reminder of what it means to go within ourselves. There is so much life that is there, waiting. Still, we are the ones to decide if and when to take hold of this life that is reaching out to us.
Love to you,
