The Right Path?

If you could go back in time, would you change anything?  About nine months ago, I was asked this question.  My answer was "Yes, I would."  I would have wanted all of my children to be here with me.  With all the healing, the growth and awareness, I was still holding on to the idea that I would have been EXACTLY who I am today without having experienced everything that I have.  And now... I realize that the pain and challenges were all a part of allowing me to me the person I am today.  All of my children, even the ones who were with me for just a short while, have helped me to see what life and love is really all about.  They were meant to be a part of my life, for as long as their journey needed to be.  And, I was meant to be their mother.  It could not have happened any other way.

How did I get here? About five and a half years ago, I had manifested everything in life I had dreamed of.  I had a wonderful career that allowed me to help others, a loving and supportive husband, a healthy little girl, a beautiful home and a second daughter on her way.  Life was perfect and was going according to my plan.  And, I was absolutely grateful and joy-filled.  What I realize now is... although life was great, there was still more that I was meant to be and do.

Life has an amazing way of breaking through to get you on your intended path, even when your life seems peaceful and purposeful.  It is up to you, however, to decide whether you are ready to take hold of the life that is reaching out to you.  It requires effort and guidance to stop the spinning, orient yourself and reach beyond the hurt.  And, if you really look around and pay attention, the right people will appear to love, support and guide you.

How will you know that you are on your right path?  First, there is no wrong path when you truly align yourself with the Divine source that guides your life.  Once you make that conscious decision, recognize that all of what you experience is important in getting to where you are meant to be.

So, how will you know when you have found your life's purpose?  You will feel it emanating from the depths of yourself.  There will be a sense of clarity and of "oneness"  and "rightness" between who you are and what you are doing.  You will have said  good-bye to shame, regret and guilt.  Fear will also begin to dissolve.  You will have recognized your gifts and decide to respect your limitations.  You will be creating and contributing to society.  You will radiate love, joy and peace.

That potential exists in each and every one of us.

"How beautiful that possibility lives within each and every one of us."
