Mastering Your Own Destiny

"Destiny isn't some place you go.  Destiny is where you are."
-Melody Beattie

I was asked last night what I believed about Fate and Destiny.  As I answered this most profound question, it helped me to clarify and put into words that which I truly believe.   I have a deep sense that we are all destined for GREATNESS with an infinite source of wisdom and incredible potential.   Each individual possesses certain aptitudes, extraordinary strengths and inborn gifts.  However, our limiting and false beliefs can hinder us.

There was a time that I questioned whether I was truly a "good" person or whether I tried to do good because of feelings of inadequacy.  Now, I recognize that no person comes into this world with a distinction of being good or bad. We are marked by our genetic heritage, our environment and our education; yet, we have a natural aspiration to exist, to evolve and to become all that we are intended to be.  We have the  free will to choose how our story will read.

As we raise our consciousness, practice forgiveness and self-love and trust in our intuitions, we become aware of our power to co-create our world.  We can choose to live in truth and to live our relationships well.  We can also make decisions that are in alignment with our deepest conscience and truest self.

Take notice of the beautiful cooperation that exists between our Creator and us.  Although the path may have seemed unclear, we often find that we have ended up exactly where we were meant to be or somewhere greater than we ever imagined.

Love to everyone,

Kathleen O'Malley, DC
